How Far is Kashmir Issue Going?

Indian Occupied Kashmir Issue

Kashmir is a territory, lies west of the Indian-administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was part of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. This is a part of the larger region of Kashmir, which has been the subject of dispute between India, Pakistan since 1947.

Kashmir is the long running conflict between two countries Pakistan and India. Kashmir shares a border with Gilgit Baltistan, reffered by United nations and other international Organisations. At the time of Partition of India in 1947, the British abandoned Kashmir because of the princely states, left with the options of joining India or Pakistan or remaining independent. Hari Singh, wjo was the maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir, wanted his state to remain independent. Muslims in West of Jammu and Kashmir and the Frontier Districts province wanted to join Pakistan and they joined Pakistan, Which is Azad Kashmir now. Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is a self-governing state under Pakistani control, but under Pakistan’s constitution, the state is informally part of the country. Pakistan is administering the region as a self-governing territory rather than incorporating it in the federation since the UN-mandated ceasefire. Azad Kashmir has its own elected President, Prime Minister, Legislative Assembly, High Court, with Azam Khan as its present chief justice, and official flag.

Kashmir has borders also with Pakistan’s Punjab province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on the west. On the east, Azad Kashmir was separated from the state of Jammu and Kashmir by the Line of Control. Azad Kashmir which is now a part of Pakistan borders, has a total area of 13,287 square kilo metres and it has the population of 4,046,366 as per the 2017 Census. People living in Jammu and Kashmir are mostly Muslims but they are literate people.

India Kashmir issue is from past 70 plus years and No Political Government has tried to resolve Kashmir issue neither from Pakistan nor from India Perhaps they use this issue from their votes and they do not want to resolve this issue so that People of Kashmir can live their lives with peace by choosing their democratic right. This time it looks one way, Pakistani government is looking to resolve this issue but India is trying to use force on Kashmiri people and snatch freedom of Kashmir  so that they lose hope and accept what India wants. They has only one hope to restrain India from their land but now when India has abandoned article 370, Kashmiris has nothing behind to restrain India now. Today or tomorrow India will buy their land and kick them out in order to achieve their goal of making India “Akhand Bharat” means this all land including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan are part of their land but muslims have took over on their places long time ago. Now they are planning to take it back as per their religion and ideology says.
